You're bidding on a great collection of Freemason's and Mililtary history, The items were purchased in Waterford, Connecticut at the estate of Colonel James F. DeWolf who served in both the US Army and Navy during his distinguished career. His family stated he served during the 1940's/1950's era. I did see his service medals and campaign bars and it was extensive (I did not purchase it as it was personal to the family). Mr DeWolf was also a longstanding member of Freemason's Brainard Lodge no. #102 in New London, Conn. I was told that he carried a few of the booklets during his time in the military. I found a tribute in a Hartford, Conn Freemason's monthly magazine from March 2016 listing his passing. I think he died in April 2016.
