Hand carved of wood and signed Rodney Morris Dec. 1966. This is one of my husbands decoy collection. Very simple carving but was my favorite. It's shows the wood grain and as you can see on the sides the grain give the impressions of wings and feathers. The head is applied and has glass eyes. One has a small chip and crack. The wood has a nice aged patina. He's 16" L X 8" H X 6 1/4" W. He sits nicely on a hearth, shelf or mantel. Very nice condition. He has a few light scuffs and dings but no real damage. I ship same or next business day.
