To all you book collectors, this is a rare find. This book is 174 years old! There is a dedication in the front of the book which only part is still legible but does bear the date the name of the recipient and the whom the book was gifted from in 1863. Also the stamp of where the book was purchased looks like Darrow’s Main St. Bookstore. Rochester, NY. Binding is pretty loose in center of book, the illustrated pages still have the original tissues to protect those etchings. I love old books they come from times when things were made with care snd pride - made to last!!!! This one certainly has!
