This is an authentic 1950s French Army M-47 early model cargo pants, which gained popularity when Martin Margiela used them inside out in a collection.
The color is khaki olive.
It's an early model with two front buttons.
Very valuable and cool.
The material is cotton for the early model. The slim later model is also cool, but the silhouette of the early model is recommended to be worn with the waist cinched.
The rise is quite deep, so although the waist is 40, you wear it by buttoning it around your stomach, not your waist. I am 178cm tall and weigh 66kg, and there was room around the waist, and I was wearing it with the length folded over.
The M47 early model, which is said to be difficult to find from now on, is quite valuable worldwide.
The condition is good for a 70-year-old product.
There are no missing buttons.
