Yaks are bovine animals that live in the highlands of parts of the Mongolian Plateau and Tibet.
The yak's hair, which has to survive in harsh environments such as deserts over 4,000m above sea level, permanent snowfields, and glacial areas where temperatures can drop to minus 30 degrees Celsius, is thick and long, and is highly insulating and cold-resistant.

As one of such high-quality animal hairs, the yak's down and high-quality cotton, which are comparable to cashmere, are blended into natural-colored melange yarn and then softly knitted on an old-fashioned loopwheel knitting machine.
The back side is made of high-quality 100% cotton fleece.
