This headphone is a closed back but performs like a semi-open headphone as far as soundstage and isolation go. Good bass response, and Drop tuned it so the treble doesn't make your ears bleed. Comes with an extra set of velour earpads if you want to try a different sound signature. I'm including a Hart upgrade cable as the stock one is the worst thing I've ever used.
