The soda water cover has a light gray background dotted with woven blue circles, but look closely and you’ll see there’s more to it. The dots are not depicted as solitary circles, but when we look at the design, our eyes can see each dot individually. That’s the playful effect of this textile’s experimental polka-dot design.
Each blue dot is woven in a different direction in the textile, giving the pattern a unique sense of motion. The advanced technique used in weaving this textile makes it so time-consuming, only a limited amount of textiles are able to be created in a single day.
