Fireweed applique quilt pattern and fabric kit by Wildfire Designs Alaska designed by Dana Michelle. This design was inspired by the beautiful fields of lavendar pink fireweed that grow all over Southcentral Alaska each Fall. They signal summer is coming to an end, and it's said that once the tops blossom winter's only 6 weeks away.
The Fireweed wall hanging kit includes a pattern, matching fabrics to the pattern cover design for all appliques and piecework as well as binding. All kits are packaged by Wildfire Designs Alaska with all fabrics labeled and stored in a reusable vinyl bag, great for safekeeping your project.
Wildfire Designs Alaska patterns are designed for fusible applique, so I recommend that you use an Applique Pressing Sheet. All the featured fabrics are Hoffman California International Fabrics #1895 Bali Hand-Dyes.
