This is a Vintage Handmade Pink Chiffon Prom Dress made by my Grandmother.
Back in the day ppl didn't have enough money for store bought fancy dresses, and my grandmother was a Seamstress,,, She did a Beautiful job on my mom's prom dress. I'm already tearing up, but I have no one to hand it down to.
Her measurements were 29 in x 22 in x approximately 54 in. Long.
It is Pink Chiffon over Pink Satin and the 3rd layer is the material that makes it puff up ( not sure what it's called ).
Across the chest there are sequins in a very elegant design, I wish I had my grandmother's talent she would be 102.5 years old but she passed 2 years ago.
I hope this Prom Dress is loved and taken care of for another 65 years.
