Original Antique Oil On Canvas Wooded Landscape Scene Painting on Antique Primitive Wood Frame 1884
This piece is beyond stunning. The colors are fabulous. It is in amazing condition for its age. There is just one tiny rip in canvas (I have a close up in pictures) & a few small flakes of paint missing. The painting is not signed, but I know the provenance of this piece as it was an original painting from our 1850's farmhouse. It measures 25"×13". The canvas backing has browned over time. There is a very old wooden shim on the back of the canvas & frame....securing painting to frame.
