This is a stunningly beautiful handmade vintage Chinese rosewood jewelry box with built-in beveled easel mirror under the lid opens and stands up for use as a vanity dressing for jewelry or makeup. The inside is beautifully lined in red velvet. The outer surface features beautifully detailed ornate hand-etched brass bands and medallions hammered to the surface of rosewood.
This beautiful piece has 3 compartments inside on the top and a drawer on the bottom. Inside is in excellent clean condition. No stains or tears in the lining. The box itself measures 9”x7”x6”.
Beautiful condition. There are absolutely no major signs of extreme damage, such as chips, cracks, scratches, etc. - any additional wear on this piece is simply due to the fact that its well over 50+ years old.
