The SAM Pelvic Sling II is a force-controlled pelvic belt that is designed to reduce and stabilize open-book pelvic ring fractures. It has a one-piece design and a patented buckle that prevents over- or under-tightening. When the optimal compressive force is reached, two prongs will activate and click to confirm the correct application. The sling is secured in place with a Velcro system strap.
