This is a beautiful white buffo turquoise pendant created by a Navajo artist Tony Garcia. There's a hallmark of TG on the back of the pendant. It's made out of sterling silver. The pendant features one turquoise stone. The pendant measures 1 1/2" tall x 1" across. It weighs a total of 11.01 grams. The pendant is in great condition and looks beautiful when worn. [Sacred Buffalo] Turquoise from the Dry Creek MineWhen discovered in the Dry Creek Mine on the Shoshone Indian Reservation near Battle Mountain, Nevada in 1993, they were not sure what it was. Because of its hardness, it was decided to send it to have it assayed and their suspicions proved correct, it was in fact turquoise, that it was finally made into jewelry.
