Vintage Olive Wood Camel Figurine with Baby 5" Hand Carved Animal Sculpture

This is a vintage hand-carved wooden figurine featuring a camel with its baby, mounted on an oval base. The carving is approximately 5" tall by 5.25" wide and shows the beautiful swirling grain indicative of olive wood.

These olive wood figures were often produced in Bethlehem and other Mediterranean regions during the 1960s–1970s, and sold as folk art or souvenir carvings.

Good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age. No major cracks or repairs noted. There is some glue visible where the figures were adhered to the base, but this appears original to the piece. Please see photos for details.
